Wonderfully creepy. Every time I look at it I notice some new detail or aspect, the vines snaking through the tiles like centipedes, the stillness of the night outside the window - this is quite simply fantastic!
I love the wetness of her skin, how shimmery and ...wet it looks. I love the background detail and the plant crawling up the side, reminds me of an earwig...Little fishies! Probably a very scary nightmare, but a wonderful painting of it!
Very disturbing. Wherever you look, it has a great effect. I'm trying to see what's outside the window; it seems to hint at a normal world that's just there, almost within reach, yet so seperate from the surreal, nightmareish bathroom.
I've gotten a lot of comments on the eyes - While I was working on the piece I wanted to make her look blind and somewhat unaware of her surroundings, and a lack of pupils seemed like the way to go. Thanks!
